What is fitness and what are the contents of our trainings?
From a purely sports science perspective, fitness is described as a bundle of the following characteristics: strength, endurance, speed, agility and coordination.
An athlete's goal is to combine these parameters optimally for a competition: A weightlifter should be strong, a runner endurance and a sprinter fast.
Our goal is to help you manage your everyday life better, be it for private or professional projects. This means: increased concentration, better ability to recover, complete freedom from pain and more energy for the tasks you face.
Each of our trainings challenges you in such a way that you achieve one goal: more well-being.
Strength and flexibility improve your posture and provide immediate and long-term relief from (back) pain. You can rely more on your body when it matters, whether you have to carry something heavy or go skiing.
In the medium term, an increased level of endurance leads to a better ability to concentrate and relax, as the necessary processes in the central nervous system are regulated more efficiently.
The first improvements can be felt after 2 to 3 weeks. After 12 to 16 weeks of continuous training, your progress is so stable that you can be lazy for a week without losing fitness.
In uncertainty and isolation, fixed points and routine provide security. Movement and training can be such a fixed point. We are aware that movement alone is a one-dimensional approach and cannot be a substitute for social contacts or a necessary therapy. Nevertheless, our experience shows that good fitness often goes hand in hand with a better quality of life.
