Your back health day
In celebration of Back Health Day on 3/15 and the "One Year Home Office" anniversary on 3/16, we'd like to briefly summarize for you today what it takes to have a healthy back.
- Back and neck pain is often tension.
- Tension results from back muscles that are too weak.
- Training them is the only way to solve the problem in the long run.
- Make sure you break up sitting periods every 45 minutes.
- Stretch and stretch or join us for our morning or lunchtime workouts.
- Get out and: walk! Studies have shown that many who are in the home office walk less than 1000 steps per day. But the ideal would be 10,000.
- If you are already in pain, you can still move, but only to the point of pain and after medical clearance.
